In the framework of the International contest was held the competition at the drawing and applied arts “Let the sun shine forever” and the contest “We remember the heroic deeds of our ancestors!” dedicated to the 65th anniversary of victory over fascism.
RUSSIAN HIGHER SCHOOLS RECEIVE TEACHING MATERIALS SET FOR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMMECIALIZATION
Teaching materials set (TMS). This is a new although not that eye-catching but scientifically bona fide titled operation guide on putting intellectual property into a commercial product worked out by the Russian National Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property.
This electronic edition is basically intended for higher educational institutions in Russia which in existing innovative conditions more often than others face the necessity correctly — and legally! — form and commercialize non-material assets in higher schools. Intellectual property as a matter of priority but not limited to.
RUSSIAN INSTITUTE WILL CERTIFY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY EXPERTS IN BULGARIA
In 2009 the Russian National Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property together with interested departments in Bulgaria will hold training and methodological seminars on intellectual property legal aspects and management in Bulgarian regions. The seminars will take place on the basis of the only industrial park in Bulgaria, one of which founders is NSRIIP.
IN SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS UNDER SPECIAL PROTECTION
One more loophole which could allow Russian knowledge, technologies and know-how flow abroad is filled. This is how experts in the field of intellectual property consider the contract signed by the Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones and the National Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property. In this document it is specially stipulated, that its purpose is cooperation in the field of assignment, legal prevention and protection of intellectual property rights received in special economic zones. The parties have agreed not only on terms favorable for creation of objects of intellectual property and measures to increase the number of hi-tech residents companies in the territory of the zones, but also on increase of the level of knowledge and practice in the intellectual property field. For innovations assume implementing new technologies, which always calls for registration and protection of copyrights, first of all. It is evident that in special economic zones the risk to simply present the technologies and know-how to a foreign partner increases. Teamwork itself under special management conditions assumes it. However after signing the aforementioned contract this threat for enterprises and organizations – residents of special economic zones - reduces considerably. Even in case of joint developments of scientific, technological, or intellectual products copyright assignment and protection from now on are under special supervision of the Russian Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones (RusSEZ) and NSRIIP. The cooperation agreement has been signed by RusSEZ Deputy Head T.N. Budarina and NSRIIP Director V.N. Lopatin.

A round table on the topic: “Methodologies and methodic of intellectual property evaluation” took place on the 17th of June 2010 at Russian cultural and informational center (RCIC) in Sofia.
Center of intellectual property and innovations, RCIC in Sofia, Foundation “For sustainable development of Bulgaria” and International center of innovations and technology transfer (ICITT) participated in the organization of the event.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: HOW TO MAKE IT CAPITAL?
«Forms of development, capitalization and management of non-material assets as part of the Treasury and property of enterprises and organizations» — this was the report presented by V.N. Lopatin, Director of the National Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property (NSRIIP) at one of the district meetings held recently in the Siberian Federal District (SFD).
RSRIIP AND ANALYTICAL CENTRE UNDER RUSSIAN FEDERATION GOVERNMENT CONCLUDED COOPERATION AGREEMENT
The Republican Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property (NSRIIP) in the name of its Director Vladimir Nikolayevich Lopatin and the Analytical Centre under the Russian Federation Government in the name of its Head Andrey Viktorovich Zverev signed a long-term Cooperation Agreement August 29th, 2008. The agreement was signed within the frame of Russia’s Development Strategy through to 2020. Basic areas of the Analytical Center’s activities include development of recommendations and proposals for the Russian Government on economic policy and economic reform priority issues. Earlier a number of agreements with state corporations, "АК" Transneft“OJSC and «Russian railways» OJSC had also been signed. For its three-year practice the Institute had signed agreements with 9 ministries, 19 science centers and high schools, state corporations like “Russian technologies company” and “Russian Nanotechnologies corporation”, some aero- and shipbuilding holding companies.
The main fields of cooperation of the Analytical Centre under the Russian Federation Government and NSRIIP will be joint scientific researches in the field of intellectual property and innovations; expertise on project concepts, programs and normative acts; projects on elaboration of state control system in the field of intellectual property and management of non-material assets as part of the Treasury and property of enterprises and organizations
BRANCH OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OPENED IN CANADA
The development of strategic lines for joint Russian-Canadian and Russian-American innovative projects in the field of intellectual property can be fostered by the North American branch of the National Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property. This is what experts are convinced of after participation in the International Forum on Russian high technologies and innovations «Russia-Canada-2008» which has been held in North America. It is during this event in the Canadian city of Toronto when negotiations have been carried on and the agreement on creation of the first branch of the Russian organization in North America engaged in advancement and protection of intellectual property abroad has been concluded.
