On the outcomes of the XIII International Forum
On April 22, 2022 the XIII International Forum "Innovative Development through Intellectual Property Market" was held, where on four regional platforms (based at the Kutafin Moscow State Law University in Moscow, at Ural State University of Economics in Yekaterinburg, at the Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University in Kazan and at the Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don) more than 320 participants (including 8 academicians, 32 doctors of science (PhD) and 45 candidates of science in various scientific fields) from 12 countries (including all EAEU and CIS countries) were registered, representing 8 international and intergovernmental bodies and organizations, 6 state academies of science, 30 academic institutions and leading universities, 16 federal authorities and more than 80 enterprises and organizations from 35 regions of Russia. Live video broadcasting of the forum on the website of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University allowed practically unlimited number of interested participants, both in Russia and abroad, to take part in its work.
The Forum was organised by the CIS Executive Committee, the EAEU, the Russian Academy of Sciences, RSRIIP, the Russian Lawyers' Association with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Military-Industrial Board of the Russian Federation and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia. The Directorate and sponsor of the Forum for all these years has been the Republican Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property (RSRIIP) – the only scientific non-profit organisation in the EAEU and CIS countries specialising in intellectual property issues and providing services in this area at the level of international ISO standards.
The partners of the Forum were the Kurchatov Institute Research Centre – CRISM Prometey and the Gradient research and production association.
The main media partners of the Forum were the National News Service news agency, the Delovoy Express publishing house, the magazines "Intellectual Property Law", "Russian Competition Law and Economics" and "Information Law".

As part of the plenary session "Eurasian Intellectual Property Market: Priorities and Prospects – 2030" thekeynote speech "Digitalization, Standardization and Intellectual Property Market as Priorities of Eurasian Integration in a Multipolar World" was delivered by Lopatin V.N. –Scientific Director of RSRIIP, Chief Scientific Associate of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of National and Interstate Technical Committees on Standardization "Intellectual Property" TC481 / ITC 550, Expert of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation. The plenary report and draft final document of the Forum included presentation of the annual RSRIIP analytical report "On the status of legal protection, use and protection of intellectual property in the EAEU and CIS countries in 2020-2021 and the prospects of the Eurasian intellectual property market until 2030" which is being prepared by RSRIIP since 2008.
In two plenary and five breakout sessions, more than 70 oral and written submissions were made by international and intergovernmental organisations, public authorities, scientific and educational institutions, corporations and civil society organisations in the participating countries.

As a result of the discussion, the participants of the Forum unanimously adopted the final document – the Forum's recommendations, which was previously approved at an extended meeting of the Supervisory Board and Scientific Council of RSRIIP with the participation of members of the Programme Committee of the Forum. The next XIV International Forum "Innovation Development through the Intellectual Property Market" will be held within the framework of the International Intellectual Property Days under the auspices of the UN on 21 April 2023 in Moscow.
