Anniversary of RSRIIP and EAEU
On 2 April 2021 in the conference hall of the IOPS (Moscow), the anniversary extended joint meeting of the Supervisory Board and the Scientific Council of the RSRIIP was held with the participation of the delegation of the Eurasian Economic Commission of the EAEU.
In his greeting, the co-founder of the RSRIIP and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the RSRIIP, Doctor of Law, Professor Sergei Stepashin noted that “the conclusions and recommendations of the RSRIIP scientists are reflected in interstate and national government decisions, and also receive support at the international level, including in the UN”.
The participants of the anniversary meeting were greeted by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation Oleg Bo
chkarev, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov, Head of Rosstandart Anton Shalaev, on behalf of Ruslan Beketayev, member of the Board (Minister) for Economics and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission of the EAEU, Head of the Secretariat Askar Kishkembaev, Director of the National Center for Legislation and Legal Research of the Republic of Belarus Vadim Ipatov, Deputy Head of Kyrgyzpatent Talant Konokbaev, Governor of the Magadan Region Sergey Nosov, Chairman of the Council of Control and Accounting Bodies under the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District Irina Tulyakova.
The main scientific report “On the results of the RSRIIP’s activity over 15 years (2005-2020) and its contribution to solving the problems of theory and practice of the formation of the Eurasian intellectual property market in the context of the transition to the digital economy” was presented by Vladimir Lopatin – scientific director of the RSRIIP, scientific supervisor of the RSRIIP, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation.
Members of the Scientific Council of the RSRIIP, Doctors of Sciences Stolyarov N.S., Golobokova G.M., Doroshkov V.V., Alekseiko L.N., Astanin V.V., who participated in the discussion of the report, supported its main provisions, and Fedorov A.V., the Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, drew attention to the need to develop with the participation of the RSRIIP and switch from the international indexing system in the interests of private foreign firms to the Eurasian system of scientometric indicators for assessing the effectiveness of science in the EAEU.
As a result of the meeting, the work of the RSRIIP on the implementation of the mission defined for the Institute in 2005 by its founders, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with the participation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was approved; the significant contribution of the RSRIIP over 15 years to domestic and world science was noted and the initiative for the preparation and signing of the Memorandum on scientific and innovative cooperation between the EEC EAEU and RSRIIP on topical issues of the development of Eurasian economic integration was supported.
The meeting participants expressed their gratitude for the high assessment of the contribution of the RSRIIP team to fundamental and applied scientific research of the problems of theory and practice of the formation of a civilized intellectual property market as a condition for innovative development and ensuring national competitiveness, as well as for the awards presented to the Institute’s staff, its scientists and employees at the anniversary meeting:
