On April 23, 2026, within the framework of the International Intellectual Property Days, the XVII International Forum "Innovative Development through the Intellectual Property Market" was held under the auspices of the United Nations. The Forum was organized with the support of WIPO (UN), the SCO, the CIS Executive Committee, the EEC of the EAEU, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Rossotrudnichestvo, and once again brought together delegations from the countries of the Greater Eurasian Partnership.

 The Forum program included a plenary session entitled "The Intellectual Property Market and National Competitiveness in the Digital Economy", during which the annual analytical report of the Republican Research Institute of Intellectual Property (RNIIIS), "On the State of Legal Protection, Commercialization and Enforcement of Intellectual Property in the EAEU, CIS, SCO and BRICS in 2025", was presented. The program also featured 19 parallel sessions, including 7 sessions in Moscow hosted by the Kutafin Moscow State Law University and 12 regional sessions in the member states of the EAEU and the CIS, devoted to the following key topics:

No. 1 "Intellectual property and technological sovereignty: creative economy and R&D performance indicators" (on the basis of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Moscow);

No. 2 "Intellectual property market and Eurasian legal protection: practices of the EAPO countries" (on the basis of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Moscow);

No. 3 "Intellectual property as a financial asset (credit, stock, insurance)" (on the basis of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Moscow);

No. 4 "Intellectual property and legal protection from unfair competition and counterfeiting" (on the basis of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Moscow);

No. 5 "Artificial Intelligence and personnel for the intellectual property market" (on the basis of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Moscow);  

No. 6 "Intellectual property as a factor of economic growth and technological leadership" (on the basis of the Russian Research Institute of Economics, Politics and Law in Science and Technology, Moscow);

No. 7 "Innovative infrastructure for the development of the intellectual property economy" (Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic);

No. 8 "The Eurasian intellectual property market as a resource of national competitiveness" (Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan);

No. 9 "The regional intellectual property market in the development of digital technologies" (Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan);

No. 10 "Intellectual property in the innovation economy" (Ashgabat, Turkmenistan);

No. 11 "Intellectual property in the development of the creative economy" (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan);

No. 12 "The economics of intellectual property in the innovative and digital development of the Republic of Belarus" (Minsk, Republic of Belarus);

No. 13 "Intellectual property as a financial asset: problems and prospects" (Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan);

No. 14 "Intellectual property and intangible assets: Global dialogue between copyright holders and business" (Yerevan, Republic of Armenia);

No. 15 "Economics of Intellectual Property in the Innovative and Digital Development of the Urals" (on the basis of Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education "Ural State University of Economics", Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation);

No. 16 "Regional Intellectual Property Market in the Republic of Tatarstan: problems and prospects" (on the basis of Academy of Sciences and Scientific and Technical Information Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan, Russian Federation);

No. 17 "Intellectual property management: assessment of qualifications" (on the basis of the Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russia);

No. 18 "Intellectual Property and Technological Leadership in the Republic of Crimea: problems and solutions" (on the basis of the Vernadsky Crimean Federal University, Simferopol, Russian Federation);

No. 19 "Intellectual property and biotechnologies in the agro-industrial complex: problems and prospects» (on the basis of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Moscow).
